Probably unique in Italy, a seminar on the socio-political aspects of water within a university course. The Magnificent Four is the title of the seminar and refers to the key sectors of water management: hydraulic safety, irrigation, integrated drinkable water system, hydroelectric industry. The goal is to see if and how water is a source of local development. It takes place within the ‘Social Dynamics in Local Development’ course, University of Padua, taught by Giorgio Osti. The course, started 25 March 2021, has several external guests: Filippo Menga, University of Bergamo, Monica Manto, Consorzio Viveracqua, Natalia Magnani, University of Trento.
